"Ethical Problems of the Class Action Practitioner"
In addition to trying numerous cases and presenting several times for State Bar Associations, I also wrote a law review article on the "Ethical Problems of the Class Action Practitioner" in 1981.
The article has since been widely read and referenced. A few of the references to the article include:
- Referenced in an "Ethics in Class Actions" presentation
- Cited in the concurring opinion of a Third Circuit Court of Appeals decision
- Cited in a Second Circuit Court of Appeals decision
- Mentioned in law review article, "Ethics Matters, Too: The Significance of Professional Regulation of Attorneys Fees and Costs in Mass Litigation"
- Cited to in law review article, "Who Should Regulate Class Action Lawyers?"
- Mentioned in law review article, "Solicitation in Class Action Situations"
- Referenced in the book, "Individual Justice in Mass Tort Litigation: The Effect of Class Actions."
